Drip: Finding the name of my magazine

A design for the masthead: paper and gel pen
You may be thinking: WOW that title is hella cringy and I admit, it is but allow me to explain how I came up with it.
So on Friday, listened to No Stylist by French Montana and Drip by Cardi B. These artist both of the same genre, hip-hop emphasize the importance of fashion, consumerism, and materialism. Today’s artist are not only seen as musicians but as fashion influencers. Listeners not only want listen to good music they want people who they can towards to in terms of fashion sense. French Montana made the patterned coord set popular while Cardi B’s fashion sense centered around making clothing for the “ short and curvy girl”. Cardi has a fashion line under Fashion Nova. She designs clothes for the girl that wants to feel empowered and look good while doing it.

The definition of drip is as follows: to look extremely fashionable or my personal favorite: "Just another word for immense swag."- Urban Dictionary. These terms are used by artist like Cardi B, Migos, and French Montana to describe how good they feel in the clothes/ accessories they rock. I also chose this name because Rap music is the mainstream music of my target audience of 15-25-year-olds. I think that we all want to feel confident in the clothes we wear so I thought that this was an accurate representation of what I want to achieve.

I think I need to find a way to make this on some sort of digital programs to so that I can post the logo all over my blog. I tried looking for a font similar to the one I created but I couldn't download it onto this website. :(

Therefore, drawing this logo is the next best thing. Wish me good luck!
